Personal Experience
I was born in Kentucky and my family relocated to northwest Indiana in my youth. My father was a mill worker and a fulltime pastor in the Church. I guess that my father’s leadership, ethics and unrelentless positive attitude influenced my drive to succeed and to present fairness to everyone in both my personal and professional life. I joined the Air Force shortly after High School and upon enlistment I requested and received my duty assignment to trained and to work on jet over two engine aircraft. In my tenure in the USAF I became a Crew Chief on large jet over two engines aircraft. I became a Crew Chief sequentially on the B-52 bomber aircraft and latter my assignment included being a Crew Chief on KC-135, an inflight refueling aircraft. I was in the Strategic Air Command (SAC) and did temporary duty assignments all over the world. This experience reinforced the discipline to accomplish goals and problem solve situations for quick and decisive actions within in a short period of time.
Upon discharge I attended Purdue University and graduated with a Bachelor Degree. My drive and since of duty instilled in me by my father and the USAF training to make logical decisions, I set out to create a foundation of knowledge-based experience to benefit everyone I encountered, both personally and in my professional life. Based on my education and life experiences I was employed and worked in the construction industry and became a Vice President of Operation of a multimillion-dollar construction firm. Along the way I held every position of responsibility in the several construction organizations.
Also, along the way I used my talents and post graduate education to work within the valuation industry. In an office expansion effort, I was asked to set up an valuation office in Parsippany NJ. My expertise in construction and estimating in the pharmaceutical industry allowed me to transition into the valuation industry, as a cost segregation specialist. I worked within the investment tax credit and depreciation allocation market during this tenure on the East Coast. At this time, I held a Real Estate Brokers license in the State of Indiana.
Currently I am a Real Estate Broker in the State of Florida with a specialty as an intermediator for business-to-business acquisition and sales. I also, have continued to have a corporate emphasis on construction/engineering firms as intermediator in the sale and purchase of their businesses. My post graduate included classes in business, finance, accounting, valuation, safety, real estate, administration, recordkeeping, risk management and the ethics of decision making. The classes were attended at Purdue University, Valparaiso University, Rutgers University, and University of Colorado, along with numerous industry related seminars. My foundation of education and life experiences makes me ideally suited to work with clients through due diligence, fairness and ethics to find the best solution of value and financial structure in the acquisition/sales process. The process demands confidentiality and trust to accomplished the most productive outcome. I will respect our mutual confidentiality and trust in the process of getting to the best outcome for all concerned.
William Buffet said it best,
“Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.
